The problem of phosphorus (P) in acid soils is low in fertilizer efficiency. This is due to when P fertilizer was added in the soil easily reacts with ions and/or oxida and/or hidroxida of aluminum and iron to form insoluble complex compound therefore its not available for plant. Decomposition of organic matter that is added to the soils will produce organic acids and its able to release ion P from insoluble compound of aluminum1 iron -phosphate so that its available for plant. Meanwhile, Rock phosphate as a source of P more soluble in acid soils and will increase available P in acid soils.en
