dc.description.abstract | The purposes of this study are to: (1) identify and measure the magnitude of the impact of the PEMP program on the welfare of its beneficiaries, (2) evaluate the level of sustainability of the PEMP program in the Aru Island. By using the following analytical methods: (1) analysis of mean difference of paired samples from respondents before and after receiving PEMP, while independent samples are explained by recipients and non recipients of PEMP, (2) sustainability analysis using amoeba technique and (3) analysis of Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM), to determine alternative policies that could improve the PEMP program. The results of this study show that the impact of PEMP has significant differences on catching and collecting, while revenue from merchant operations differs in the year 2005, 2007 and year 2008. Furthermore, the sustainability of the PEMP program from each indicator is very good except for the institutional indicators of selected parameters and for the proposed scenario IV, it is also considered very good. | en |
