Develop Policy Model of Sustainable Environment Management at PT (Persero) Kawasan Berikat Nusantara

Abstract

This research aim are resulting policy model of sustainable environmental management of PT KBN through activities such as examining existing conditions of environment quality in the zone of PT KBN and determining sustainable status of environment management in PT KBN: activily analyzing key factors of environment management of PT KBN; and formulating applicable policy scenario of environment management in PT KBN to create PT KBN that owns sustainable, environmental orientation. Research indicates that (1). The condition of environment in PT KBN still shows the existence of polluted liquid waste from the activities of the company and society in it’s surrounding areas; (2). Enviroment management of PT KBN has not sustainable yet. Of the five analyzed dimensions to determine sustainable status of PT KBN, three dimensions are unsustainable namely economy, social, and technology. Dimensions classified unsustainable is ecology. Institutional dimensions is the sustainable one; (3). There are fiveteen factors contributing to environment management of PT KBN, four of them are key factors: technology of liquid waste management, participation of entrepreneurs in environment management, technology of solid waste management, and the use of chemical in production process: and (4).
