| dc.description.abstract | The present study was performed to evaluate the velvet antler production of Rusa (Cewus timorensis) and Sambar (Cewus unicolor) hybrid. Velveting was completed and conducted under medical standard before antler calsification, indicated by before outer and inner tines grows. The results showed that rusa and sambar hybrid produced 1.34 + 0.23 kg (mean + SD) velvet per haverst. Coefficient of correlation (R2) between body weight and velvet production was 0,108 with equation of y = 0.2955Ln (x) + 0,0045, (P> 0,05), indicates that there is a low relation between body weight on velvet productions. | id |
