Information on genetic diversity in citrus germplasm is aecessary to support breeding programs and efforts of conservation. Random amplified polimorphic DNA (RAPD) marker could enhance the efficiency of early selection stage and reduce time consuming in citrus breeding. The objectives ef this research were to study the genetic diversity of citrus FTmplasm and to identify citrus cultivar by RAPD markers. The results showed that thirty accessions of citrus germplasm analyzed by ten selected-primers generated 37 RAPD markers, which were polymorphic. Cluster analysis at 0.75 similarities level produced four groups: orange-mandarin, pummelo, JC-RL rootstock, and Flying Dragon-Citrumelo 4475 rootstock groups. Further analysis utilizing WinBoot showed that two groups, i.e., orange-mandarin and JC-RL rootstock groups had low degree of confidence « 90%). Two specific RAPD markers were identified in this experiment. The two markers are OPN 16-400 that specific for mandarin cv. Cina Konde and OPW19-1900 that specific for pummelo cv. Krikilan Merah.
