dc.description.abstractBasically, the national and regional development policy in Indonesia for Pelita I1 and I11 is directed to the implementation of development that guarantees equal distribution of income for all people and avoids regional income and development disparities by suffecient economic growth and healthy and dynamic national stability. In the West Java development implementation, the agricultural sector is main priority in regional development. Therefore, the agricultural sector is expected to guarantee the achievement of the development aim mentioned above, especially in reducing regional income disparity and increasing regional income. In how far agricultural sector development has supported regional income distribution in West Javahas been analyzed'through several aspects and approaches to explain the role of the agricultural sector in this respect.id
