| dc.description.abstract | Pertumbuhan wirausaha merupakan salah satu indikator penting dalam
pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu negara. Wirausaha agribisnis harus memiliki
karakteristik wirausaha untuk lebih meningkatkan kinerja usahanya. Paguyuban
Bumi Mandiri merupakan kelompok tani yang aktif mengusahakan padi organik
di Kabupaten Subang, namun masih sedikit yang menerapkan budidaya padi
organik. Penelitian ini mencoba memperlihatkan hubungan karakteristik
wirausaha petani padi di Desa Pringkasap terhadap kinerja usaha yang dihasilkan.
Karakteristik wirausaha yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah percaya diri,
kerja keras, pengambil resiko, inovatif, mandiri, dan berorientasi masa depan.
Kinerja usaha yang diukur meliputi hasil produksi dan keuntungan. Alat analisis
yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil
analisis korelasi Rank Spearman menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan antara petani
padi non organik dan petani padi organik. Hubungan karakteristik wirausaha
terhadap kinerja usaha pada petani padi organik yang memiliki nilai positif dan
signifikan meliputi percaya diri, pengambilan risiko, inovatif dan orientasi masa
depan terhadap hasil produksi serta kerja keras dan inovatif terhadap keuntungan.
Sedangkan pada petani non organik meliputi kerja keras, inovatif, dan mandiri
terhadap hasil produksi serta mandiri dan orientasi masa depan terhadap
keuntungan. | id |
| dc.description.abstract | Entrepreneurial growth is an important indicator of a country's economic
growth. Agribusiness entrepreneurs must have entrepreneurial characteristics to
further improve their business performance. Paguyuban Bumi Mandiri is a farmer
group that is active in cultivating organic rice in Subang Regency, but only a few
are implementing organic rice cultivation. This study tries to show the relationship
between the entrepreneurial characteristics of rice farmers in Pringkasap Village
to the resulting business performance. Entrepreneurial characteristics used in this
study are self-confidence, hard work, risk-taking, innovative, independent, and
future-oriented. Measured business performance includes production results and
profits. The analytical tool used in this study is the Rank Spearman correlation.
The results of the Spearman Rank correlation analysis showed that there were
differences between conventional rice farmers and organic rice farmers. The
relationship between entrepreneurial characteristics and business performance of
organic rice farmers which has positive and significant values includes selfconfidence, risk-taking, innovation and future orientation towards production
results as well as hard work and innovation towards profits. Whereas anorganic
farmers include hard work, innovation, and independence for production and
